An open letter from the President: My father has shown me so many things to appreciate in this life. Simple pleasures like good health, appreciating each day that we're alive and together, and an endearing positive attitude that has befriended more people in our hometown than anyone I have ever met. To this day every time we’re out in public, somehow, someway, someone knows Dad and wants to say hello. His warm smile and good soul touches everyone he comes in contact with and it is my pleasure to have him in my life as my father. What you may not know as an Epica client is that since 2005, he has created literally thousands on top of thousands of masterpieces, letter by letter and word by word as one of Epica's master embossers. This journey has, in short order, taken him from brave apprentice to master of his craft. His name is Eddie, and he is in large part the reason why Epica stands alone in our ability to provide the most unique set of hand embossed options found anywhere on the web and quite possibly anywhere in the world.

It is for this and many other reasons that I want to give back to dad and so: this is My Father’s Journal. As such, most of the profit from this book is going directly to him as a way to say thank you for all that he has done.

We’re calling it Father’s Journal but you can use it whether you’re a man or woman as your personal journal, diary, sketch book or guest book. Or you can give one to your father for your own special reasons and give him an experience he won’t soon forget. We believe it is the perfect size book. Look at the comparison image above: larger than your 6x9 travel journal yet smaller than our full sized 9x12 inch book it measures in at a healthy 7x10 inches. It is neither cumbersome nor too small yet manages to lie flat at every turn of the page. It contains our classic laid unlined writing pages which means there are hundreds of tiny inlaid almost invisible translucent lines running through the pages to give it a unique look and also a secret tool to write straight. And, since we’re introducing it with so many color options, there is something here for everyone.

Some embossing notes:

• This leather looks best with BLIND embossing. The softer finish sometimes causes the foils to bleed slightly, and there may be some flaking.
