This map of the world could be considered a milestone in Cartography for both its informative contents and for the exquisite drawing. Most certainly belonging to the Dutch period of the XVII century, this large map is particularly outstanding for the beauty of the four cartouches on the corners that enclose the actual chart representation. Our reproduction has been realized according to the techniques common to all our maps.

All maps are Made in Italy, outlined using a hand tooled copper press, painted by hand using water color, mounted on an antiquated, linen and cotton canvas in sections which fold easily, and are encased in a soft bag, inside of a luxurious burgundy gift box with the map’s title written across the corner cover.

The size and special loops on the top and bottom of this map allow it to be hung using a curtain rod or rod of your choice.

Maps may be hung using any method of your choice including professional framing (available upon request) or be displayed atop tables or other flat surfaces.
