I want it to be classy. Will it look good?
It is actually very difficult to make something look bad. Ninety five percent of all Epica clients personalize their books. We receive more testimonials than we can put on the site. Remember also, that if you do not personalize your book, we have a NO QUESTIONS ASKED MONEY BACK GUARANTEE... you can always send it back... or send it back to be personalized!
After embossing thousands of books we can give you a few things to avoid: If embossing a smaller book such as a 3x4, 4x6, 6x8, 6x9 or 9x6, try not add too many words or characters on one line or select an enormous font that will go scrolling off the book. Also, it is best not to do too many lines on a smaller book, though we have made even 4 or 5 lines look great on a smaller 6x9 size. Consider mixing it up: some lines in a color such as copper and some lines blind (impression only).
Gold and copper look fantastic, silver is gorgeous, blind an black are subtle. Do not think of colors as being gaudy. ALL COLORS look great, and NONE of our colors are garish, gaudy, or ugly, we promise. We have even done colors such as teal or baby blue on the brown leather and they always come out looking good.
Lastly, remember that blind embossing is VERY subtle. It does not stand out the way other colors do. If you are looking for a VERY unassuming look, this is the choice for you.
