That, combined with the finesse of each stroke gives this map a sense of perspective and irrefutable value. City names are presented using historical names which often differ to how they are pronounced or written today. The detailed legend which graces the bottom margin of each map is also noteworthy as it contains numbers which indicate the most important monuments of each specific city. All maps are Made in Italy, outlined using a hand tooled copper press, painted by hand using water color, mounted on an antiquated, linen and cotton canvas in sections which fold easily and are encased in a soft bag, inside of a luxurious burgundy gift box with the map’s title written across the corner cover.
