Dear Epica,
My name is Jackie, and I am an R.N. from Allentown. Ever since I was a little girl, just old enough to write really, I have been keeping a journal. Originally, the journals were just diaries of little girl thoughts, but I soon began to write short stories, poetry, and I even attempted a few novels. However, as I got older, I became more and more picky about my journals. The paper is always terrible (I'm a left-handed rollerball user, so thick and smooth paper is truly necessary), or the design is shoddy, or worst of all (in my opinion), there are LINES (gasp). It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a journal that possess both quality paper and quality workmanship. Even more difficult is finding all this without having wide-ruled lines rudely drawn about the page.
Then I found YOUR website! I found it difficult to sit still because I was so thrilled to be looking at what would probably be the only journals I would ever write in again in my life. I was not sure about how the journals would appear in person, so I ordered two, each one a different size and paper choice. Ordering stuff on the internet is something I typically despise, but my experience with Epica was nothing but positive. They kept me very well-informed about when my package shipped out and how to track it. Delivery was exactly on time, and each journal was packed very carefully.
The most important part? When I opened those boxes and stared down at my new journals....I was almost afraid to touch them, they were so beautiful. I lifted the first journal out of its box lovingly and just held it, weighing it in my hands, enjoying the substantial but not overbearing heft. Then I opened the book, and I think I actually whispered, "WOOOOW". The paper was perfect, ABSOLUTELY perfect. Thick, creamy, silky smooth pages that appeared to go on forever. My personalized smaller volume was done very tastefully, and my bigger journal was just as gorgeous with nothing embossed on the cover. Originally, I was a bit hesitant to purchase journals at the prices listed, but I figured I would try them once, and if I did not like them, I would never buy another one. I WILL ALWAYS BUY EPICA JOURNALS! I am so impressed, and I understand why they are as much as they are.The cost is justified and WELL WORTH IT. You make an unforgettable product, and I plan on making many of the gifts for my loved ones Epica journals.
