My fiancée and I were searching for months for the perfect scrapbook for our wedding. We searched high and low at specialty stores, department stores and card type stores with no success. Perhaps, what we wanted was to unusual or to old world but we had our hearts set on a medieval, distressed type book that had a great European feel. We wanted to find something that looked European, preferably, Italian or Spanish.
My fiancée had the great idea to check the Internet, he thought that we could at least stumble on a European retailer that exports to the U.S. Luckily, we didn't have to go through that. Instead we found Epica in our own backyard.
I decided to make a trip to their warehouse to see exactly what they had and the type of business people they were. Fate had it that day, that Epica was receiving a new shipment and they invited me to stay and see all the new inventory that was available. I was in heaven as the books were gorgeous and they had just arrived from Florence, Italy. The leather was beautiful and the colors were rich, they were even more beautiful in person that they were on the Internet.
The owner was very accommodating and allowed me to peruse the inventory and pick the one that was perfect for my wedding pictures. The hardest part of the whole transaction was picking which book, as I wanted them all! Luckily, the owner and Epica were patient as I finally reached a decision.
I felt so good about my new book and I knew my fiancée was going to be excited (what a way to kickoff the marriage). Epica was a great find and the people behind Epica are a delight to deal with. A big thank you Epica!
